EUFEP-Congress 2010

Focus: Mental Health, 16th to 18th June 2010

The congress will take place from June 16th to 18th in Baden near Vienna, Austria. The focus of EUFEP 2010 is prevention programs for mental disorders.

Building on the success of last year’s event, which was attended by numerous international and renowned speakers, the 2010 European Forum for Evidence-based Prevention (EUFEP) will take place on June 16th to June 18th in Baden, Austria. The focus of EUFEP 2010 will be on evaluation and the economic aspects of evidence-based prevention programs for mental disorders and will be conducted in cooperation with the University of Vienna, the Danube University Krems, the Lower Austria Health- and Social Fund, the Lower Austria Academy and the initiative “Best Health” (Beste Gesundheit).

Physicians, nurses, health care academics, and decision makers in public health comprise the intended target audience.
Nevertheless, the symposium is open to all interested professions. A special workshop on the contemporary debate surrounding evidence-based prevention will be held for journalists.
