Call for Posters

Present a poster about your scientific project on the subject of "Cancer Prevention - Missed Opportunities or Empty Promises?" at EUFEP 2011.

Best poster awards

The three best posters will be awarded with € 300.--, 200.-- and 100.-- respectively. These posters shall also be presented during the poster session to take place in the course of EUFEP 2011 (the exact date and time of the poster session will be made known).

  • Methodology of scientific work or project
  • Practical relevance of results
  • Relevance for evidence-based medicine
  • Creative poster design

Application guidelines

Abstracts may be submitted in German or English.

Abstracts will only be accepted when submitted online via the website.

(Number of words: min. 250, max. 300)

 

Format

  • Problem description
  • Where was the research work or project carried out?
  • What groups of persons were involved?
  • What are the results and the consequences of the work presented?
  • How have the effects of your work been measured?
  • What are your findings, what the set-backs?
  • Take- home message

Posters

Participants wanting to present their scientific project on the subject of “Cancer Prevention – Missed Opportunities or Empty Promises?” need to submit an abstract on the topic. Participants whose abstracts have been accepted are kindly requested to bring along a printout of their posters (exclusively A0 – 84,1cm x 118,9cm, upright format!) and attach them to the poster wall.

 

Cost

Contributors have free entry on the day of the poster session, for the second conference day, the registration fee will be charged.

Deadline for submitting abstracts for the poster session: 15-09-2011.

Reply on the acceptance of an abstract for poster presentation: by 22-09-2011, in writing.
